Base Introduction
Please know that you are in for the long run when starting with this shard. Nothing will come easily to you, and you will have to work for everything you do here. When you start, as you can tell by your backpack, you will have a dagger, 1000 gold and a few other small items. Your stats will be starting at 30 Strength, 10 Dexterity, and 1 Intelligence. You will touch on these further into this introduction, so be patient. A few things to remember, is that gold drops are lower than you are used to, and things cost a lot more from NPCs in comparison to other shards. You will not get a lot from selling items either, so be ready for some work. When you are done the introduction here, you will be teleported to New Haven. In New Haven, there are a lot of things to help you out. To start, there are trainers all over the area of New Haven for most basic skills. In the East portion of the city resides many fighting trainers that you can get some basic quests to help you get up to 50 in those skills quicker. Directly North of the Town Square sits Elder Duda. This NPC will give you a lot of great starter quests like, kill me some birds and kill me some pigs. This is a great way to start gaining experience, gold and items. These will be touched on in more detail at another station in this introduction as well. To the South of the town sits the Mines, where you can train Mining up to 50.0 quickly on the mountain walls. Please remember that going into the dungeon will not grant you any bonuses in training. To the Far East of the Town on the other side of Old Haven, which is filled with Zombies, Skeletons, and many other monters, is another area for training. Here you can train Archery. South of this area pumpkins grow that are free to harvest. There is also a great sheep population in this area. Beware of the Brigands here though, as they are strong and ready to take your life. So now you can look at moving on to the next section that we cover Stat and Skill Gains. Head to the Wisp above us here, and say the magical words starter to be brought to the next area.
